Wedesdays Mar 2012 – Final Round

Round 4

Playing Class D players can be sorta funny, it’s easy to spend gobs of time looking for the best kill-shot.

  1. I think c5 was a recipe for disaster and it deteriorated from there.
An example how bad positional play loses the game.

  2. RollingPawns, you are right, that is exactly how I felt during the game, that once he played c5 it was a sure sign that he did not know what he was doing. 😉 The positional-death was even more sure than a tactical slip-up from a messy position. I had to be aware that he would play better once defending, but finding “only” moves for White means that Black is already completely dictating.
