K is for King-Hunt

In faux-mockery of Paul Anderson’s recent blog-post. ;-p Here are two games I haven’t published here which ended in checkmate, same opponent.

Round 4 May Wednesdays

Round 2 June Thursdays

  1. In June’s game he left his kingside without defense and your attack was pretty crushing, good play.
In May’s game I think you had to pay for g5 and his initiative on the queenside.

  2. I’m now looking at the move 16…h6, which is obviously just a move to pass the clock-time onto him, and instead should have played 16…Qe7 followed by 17…Nc4 is just game because the b4 pawn can’t be held.
